Technology company Actum Digital is opening its doors to its first-ever strategic partner from the new year. The investor group is none other than Behind Inventions, which consists of several successful managers from the Czech business environment. The transaction involves entering into one of the Actum Digital group companies – Actum X, s.r.o., which now becomes a subsidiary of the parent company ACTUM, s.r.o., with Behind Inventions holding a 50% stake. This technological spin-off of the company will mainly involve the expansion of services in the fields of data and artificial intelligence, systems integration, and supply chain management. A broad portfolio of new services will ensure significant growth and ideal conditions for further development of the company.

From Software Solutions to Technological Consulting
While Actum Digital has previously been profiled mainly as a software company, it will now be more focused on technological consulting. Actum X, which previously solely engaged in the outsourcing of IT experts, will now focus on consulting and services in the fields of data and artificial intelligence, systems integration, supply chain management, and more. The main focus will be on clientele from the areas of financial services, e-commerce, utilities, and manufacturing, not only from the Czech Republic but also from foreign markets. Actum Digital's main clients now include Christie‘s, Allianz Global Investors, SF-Filter, Lampenwelt, Škoda Auto, Česká spořitelna, Conrad Electronic, and Siko bathrooms.

Behind Inventions currently has seven technology companies in its portfolio. Among them, for example, Semantic Visions uses AI for evaluating data from global and Czech media, Flowbox, a software tool for advanced energy management, or the cloud platform Keboola, which connects corporate and external data and their organization in one place. The investor group also includes entrepreneur and investor Stanislav Pavlín, artificial intelligence and technological analytics specialist Jan Balatka, and energy and M&A expert Josef Kotrba, both with previous long-term involvement in Deloitte.
